A sudden visitor, Kaoru, arrives at Mitsuya’s home. Upon seeing him, Mitsuya becomes visibly shaken and demands he leave. Seeing this emotional side of Mitsuya for the first time, Tomoya's mind races with assumptions. He later learns from Shige that Mitsuya and Kaoru were lovers ten years ago.
