Elijah is about to finish his ministry as a prophet in Israel. Elisha, who will be his successor, accompanies him in his last steps. Suddenly, Elijah is taken to heaven in a chariot of fire. From above he throws his mantle to Elisha, transferring to him the responsibility of spiritually guiding those people. Elisha becomes a valuable instrument in the hands of God.
